About ICT

For this semester, one of the subjects that i would be learning is ICT in Science. It is sounds like interesting and i'm expecting that i will learn more detail on how can we, as future science teacher use technology in teaching and learning process. Furthermore, i'm curious to know about computer and other new technology devices. What is ICT actually? Information and communication technology (ICT) is the unified communication and the integration of telecommunications (telephone lines and wireless signals), computer, middleware as well as necessary software, storage-and audio-visual systems, which enable users to create, access, store, transmit and manipulate information. In other words, ICT consists of IT as well as telecommunication, broadcast media, all types of audio and video processing and transmission and network based control and monitoring process. 

Therefore, we should take advantage of this technology development as medium for us to enhance our skills as teachers and with the technology, we could create an interesting and effective teaching and learning process in class :)
